How it works

Sizing and styling

The snippets set a sensible height and cap the width at 480px so the calculator sits neatly inside a normal article column. Adjust the height and max-width values to suit your layout. If your theme has a wide content area, dropping the max-width cap lets it fill the space.

The background is a warm off-white that sits well on most light themes. If it clashes with yours, wrapping the iframe in your own bordered container usually solves it.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes, for any site, commercial or not. The calculators are the free part of the planner. There is a paid build pack for people who want a full cut list and drawings, but nothing in the embedded calculator asks your readers for money.

Will it slow my page down?

The snippet uses lazy loading, so the calculator only loads when a reader scrolls near it. It does not affect your page load or your Core Web Vitals.

Does it track my readers?

No analytics or advertising scripts run inside the embedded calculator, and it sets no cookies. Nothing your readers type is sent anywhere.

Can I use it in millimetres and inches?

Both. Your readers can switch units inside the calculator, so the same embed works for a UK or a US audience.
